We were so excited to have the Hahns come and visit this weekend!! We have really missed them since moving here. It was the first time Jacob has been old enough to really play with the kids. And boy did they play!! It was nice because Cooper and Jacob timed their naps perfectly...the went to sleep and woke up at the exact same time!!! Miracle I tell you! Anyways, we spent a lot of time playing Wii and at the park. I love the picture above of all the kids together. Jacob of course took to Brittany right away, surprise that the only girl in the group was his favorite.
Obviously he is smitten in this picture...he would only smile if he was looking at Brittany. He also liked to follow Brandon around the park, who was super good with him. They went all over the slides and climbed everything together. Jacob and Cooper bonded on the swings...I swear both of them were in there for like 20 minutes!! My shoulder still is sore!
I love this picture to the right because Brandon is so focused on keeping Jacob safe and making sure he does the slide okay. It cracks me up how wild and then how calm kids can be in an instant. I love it!!
So here is my all time favorite park picture!! They are just so darn cute!!! They walked all the way to the car like that. Heart melting!!
When we got home Mike made burgers, mac n' cheese, and smoothies for the kids, while we blew up the bouncy house. Jacob finally enjoyed the bouncy house!! He thought the other kids in it were pretty funny too. Once it got dark we pulled out the fire pit and made some S'mores!!!
Jacob got to try his first S'more!!! Surprise, surprise...he loved it!! It was such a mess, but we are definitely going to do it again.
The kids really did have a great time playing together...Brandon didn't even make it to the S'mores because he was so worn out.
Grown-ups had a great time too!! It was so nice to spend time with such great friends. Hopefully they come back soon!!! And for longer!!
