Jacob's a Guppie!!!

Jacob and Melo officially graduated from swim school yesterday!! They are now "experts" in blowing bubbles, jumping off stairs, floating in rings, and dunking their heads. I think I am most impressed with the head dunking. Instead of being upset after Jacob comes up from being dunked, he laughs!! I'm so excited that he is starting to love the water!!
They start another session next week, which they will return to guppy status, but I don't think they mind.
I love this photo and how happy Jacob looks, but what also cracks me up is the face that Mike is making...Jacob makes the same face all the time!!

KiKi, Matt Matt, & E-baby come to visit!!

Since our move to Rocklin, we have had on and off visitors for the last 2 months, which we absolutely love!! But I think these visitors could have been Jacob's favorite.  Jacob constantly talks about Matt Matt, KiKi, and baby... it could be in the car, the house, meal time, just before nap time, or bath time, they are always the topic of his discussions. So, when they were finally able to come up for the weekend, Jacob could not have been more thrilled!! (And wither could we!) We had a fun filled weekend of Fairy Tale Land, the Roseville Flea market, and hanging out at Gabby & Jason's house. I love the above picture of Melo, E-baby, and Jacob. It's so great to see them starting to play together (and I use this term very loosely). There were a few tantrums and bumps and bruises, but overall it was a great weekend. I must say the highlight for us was Fairy Tale Land... a 50 year old gem in the middle of Sacramento.

The Choo-choo train could have been the boys favorite place to hang out. They loved climbing all over everything in it. Also we met a friend there named Everett too!!! It was quite the magical place!

Of course our family photo sitting on a Tur-tle!

Thanks to KiKi for taking all the photos, seeing as this mother of soon to be 2 has already lost her mind and left her phone on the roof of the car that day!! Oh pregnancy brain!!

Jacob's 1st GIANTS Game

A couple weeks ago for Father's Day, we took Dayton to a Giants game. Yes, Father's Day is not in August, but we are a little slow moving with our plans. We were a little iffy on taking Jacob seeing as I get bored at baseball games! However, we decided to take him and I'm so glad we did!! He had a blast just looking at everyone and learning the word baseball!! His vocabulary is just booming right now!

I forget how beautiful AT&T park is... it has to be the best in the nation.  As soon as we got there everyone who worked there was asking if it was Jacob's first game and that we had to go get him a certificate for it. It's so cute!! We really lucked out on the weather, as it was completely perfect!
The actual trophies were put away for the day, so we took a picture in front of the make-shift ones... as it was the same year as Jacob was born! It was just a great day at the ballpark!
